For our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) team we are in search of a Carbon Emissions professional who can help us develop our emission detection and reporting tool. Also, who will later help present and maintain the service of detecting and reporting tool at our clients who focus on initiatives for Decarbonization and Methane Mitigation.
You will work in initiative of cross-sector collaboration or in collaborative frameworks, where the industrial sector's decarbonization and methane mitigation / abatement plays a central topic. Your background knowledge aims to strengthen dialogue and coordinated action of the clients initiatives. You maintain focus on industrial value chains and renewables-based solutions.
This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "best for project" and "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid analytic and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Charter the decarbonisation lifecycle for clients
- Achieve periodic reporting objectives for clients
- Qualify the customer needs
- Discuss, challenge and/or defend proposed emission mitigation solutions
- Liase with partner companies who provide environmental data, such as satellite detection of GHG data
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for decarbonizing everything!
- Perfect written English
- Highly analytic, creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for the Netherlands
Nice to have
- Experience in writing online content
- Additional languages, such as preferrably Dutch
- Knowledge of methane emissions
- Strong analytical skills
