Systems Engineer - Technical advisory role

Amsterdam, Netherlands

At Huracán, we’re not just another tech company — we’re problem solvers, innovators, and sustainability champions. As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, working across teams to design and implement solutions that make a real-world impact. If you’re looking for a role where you can grow, learn, and tackle exciting challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

We need someone who’s as sharp as they are creative. This isn’t just about keeping the wheels turning — it’s about thinking outside the box, streamlining systems, and finding smarter ways to work. You’ll need a proactive mindset, a knack for problem-solving, and the drive to see things through from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to optimize and maintain system operations.
  • Analyze workflows and identify ways to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement cutting-edge tools and processes that support our sustainable projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues with a “get it done” attitude and innovative approach.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in systems engineering, or a related field.
  • A creative thinker who thrives on solving complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
  • Passion for technology and sustainability — bonus points if you geek out over wind farms or emissions tracking.

Why Huracán?

We’re a growing company with big ambitions. At Huracán, you’ll work alongside accomplished leaders on projects that matter. From great benefits to endless opportunities for learning and advancement, we’ve got you covered.
